She is like a ray of sunshine when she walks in the room.
There is not much I dislike more than being in a hospital. I have spent many long hours in a hospital bed. I am writing as a patient with a significant amount of time spent as a patient in the hospital. The longest stay was seven months.
It takes an incredible nurse to come in every day and be cheerful and caring. Sarah Johnson is one of the best I have ever seen. Because of that, I felt it important to recognize top nurses when I encounter them. Sarah is one of the best nurses I have ever had, and I have had quite a few nurses in my past due to my many health problems.
She is like a ray of sunshine when she walks in the room. Sarah is very attentive to my needs and concerns. She cares about my comfort. I have chronic pain. Many nurses treat patients with chronic pain differently. Sarah never did; she listened to my history and helped advocate for the treatment I needed. She was a joy to be around, and on particularly difficult days, she could lift my spirits just by walking into the room.
Sarah is a huge blessing to your department and the team of nurses on the sixth floor, and she should be celebrated! She is an excellent nursing model and teacher of what nursing should be. I am so glad that she was one of my nurses. Sarah is a keeper.
