Professor Jessee's dedication to the Carrington College - Las Vegas' Nursing program and students has been demonstrated in countless ways over her tenure.  She has shown her commitment to building our program by volunteering more than once to take on additional classes as needed, despite it meaning less time with her family. She has worked tirelessly to lead by example by arriving early and leaving late so that the students see her dedication to creating knowledgeable and well-rounded nurses. She has become a resource to her colleagues, clinical instructors, and faculty alike on curriculum brainstorming and innovative teaching practices. 

However, what distinguishes Professor Jessee is her unwavering commitment to her students. It is true that she is the epitome of tough love. And any student will tell you that "Professor Jessee, don't play," but for every rule she strictly enforces or every line she says, "do NOT cross!" she is asking no more than what she asks of her own children. And like her own children, through every interaction, she wants the students to know that they are better, smarter, stronger, than they think they are.  She wants them to know they are going to make great nurses.
