It's been months since my daughter was discharged, but I still think about Sara's kindness.
When my daughter M was 3 weeks old, she got sick with bronchiolitis and had to be admitted to the pediatric unit for 3 weeks. While that was one of the hardest things I've had to experience as a mother, one of our nurses, Sara, went above and beyond to help me. I saw her quite a few times during our stay, and whenever she was our nurse, she'd ask if I wanted to give the baby a bath and get her into some new clothes, which helped gain a sense of normalcy during a hard time.
Whenever I saw her in the halls, she was always sure to smile and ask if today was going well for us, and it was a joy to have a friendly, familiar face. Whenever we received difficult news, she stayed back a moment to make sure I was okay and would always make sure I understood everything that was going on, and it really helped me. It's been months since my daughter was discharged, but I still think about Sara's kindness.

Sara was with us from Tuesday to Thursday. The way she treated my daughter and her help during those days made a difference. She was on top of everything my baby needed, and her service was excellent.
