I left the hospital the next day, grateful to God for people like Sarah in this world.
Sarah… An Angel in the Form of a Nurse.
One day, I felt an overwhelming fatigue like never before, so I decided to go to the hospital to check on my health. I didn’t know what awaited me there, but I was in desperate need of help. When I arrived at the Endocrinology Department, I was exhausted and anxious, especially since I don’t speak English well, which made me even more nervous. I entered the department, searching with my eyes for someone who could understand me or reassure me. That’s when Sarah appeared — a nurse at the reception.
From the very first moment, I felt an unusual comfort with her. She approached me with a warm smile and kindly asked about my condition. When she found out I didn’t speak English, she immediately volunteered to translate everything the medical staff said. She accompanied me to the doctor’s room and calmly and gently explained every step.
Sarah’s care was more than just a job. She looked at me as a person, not just a patient. I sensed sincerity in her words and compassion in her actions. She would put her hand on my shoulder when she sensed my fear and smile at me when she saw the worry in my eyes. I left the hospital the next day, grateful to God for people like Sarah in this world. She may not remember me, but I will never forget her kindness and humane treatment that gave me a sense of safety in my hardest moments.
