If I even feel like I am not going to make it out there alive, I know Samara is not going to let that happen.
I have been admitted 3 different occasions, and when I am lucky enough to have Samara assigned to me, I know my question will be answered, and my treatment will be superb. If I even feel like I am not going to make it out there alive, I know Samara is not going to let that happen. She goes above and beyond. Her passion, compassion, caring-ness, genuine love for people, her tender, caring nature, her ability to give her own patient 100% as well as give 100% for a patient who isn’t assigned to her is beyond phenomenal. While continuing not to crumble under pressure, she keeps a level head, not wavering in her duties as a nurse.

She oozes genuine love, an ability, an obligation to make sure you leave your current condition as healthy as possible in mind, body, and spirit. Her conversations are to die for, no pun intended, as no matter how bad you feel, you’re going to take from the conversation everything you need to make it for that whole day, at some point feeling like I got this, I can make it. She’s such an amazing person, that’s why I nominate her, and last but not least, a doctor releases you, and you’re waiting on paperwork, she’s still your nurse until she sees you out the front door.

Samara, thank you from the bottom of my heart for picking me up when I first got admitted. Even though the days were sunny, I only saw darkness and despair, even now or at home. I play back those conversations in order to keep living.
