My grandma has been a frequent visitor to a variety of facilities over the years. She has seen so many specialists and worked with so many teams. She has always remarked on how much she loves her dialysis team at St John's. Despite the circumstances, I felt grateful to witness the care a certain individual gave at this hospital.
My grandma was in the ICU for a variety of reasons. It warmed my heart seeing Sam interact with my grandma with dignity. I appreciated that she listened to what my grandma had to say, and I could tell she genuinely cared. I was so happy when I saw she was back for a second day and remarked multiple times how good Sam was and how well she knew what to do. I am forever grateful for the care provided. Watching caregivers like Sam talk to their patients with respect and keeping their dignity is amazing. I just wanted to "shout out" for how awesome she has been.
