In the midst of our shock and grief, this care meant more than words could express.
I recently lost my dad unexpectedly. I will never forget the extraordinary care, compassion, and kindness shown by Samantha, who looked after him and our family. From the very beginning, she treated my dad with genuine warmth and deep respect. She showed unbelievable empathy to my family and me, consoling us in a way that felt gentle, personal, and real, as if she instinctively knew exactly what we needed in the darkest of times.
She asked about my dad, took an interest in his personality, and made me feel that my bond with him was understood and respected. In the midst of our shock and grief, this care meant more than words could express. Sam explained everything in clear detail. Her patience and reassurance made such a difference. When my dad passed away, she was a calm, steady presence, showing him respect and offering us comfort.
Before we left, she promised she would continue speaking to my dad as she washed and prepared him for us to see him one final time, as my dad loved to chat. She accepted our hugs, and I felt so grateful she was there. I cannot thank her enough for making the worst day of my life more bearable.
