Samantha Cintron, PhD, RN, PCCN

Samantha Cintron is the best professor I have ever had. She is kind, caring, and professional. She creates a comfortable learning environment where I feel like I can ask questions and truly learn. Her tests are fair, and she truly sets us up for success. After our second test, I didn't do as well as I had hoped. I had a few questions on my challenge sheet during the exam, and she personally emailed me to explain every question I missed. This showed she truly appreciated me as a student and shared her passion for teaching. I ask a lot of questions in her class, and she is never frustrated and is always excited to answer them.

I particularly enjoy this class because I worked in healthcare for a few years before coming into this program; because of that, I have more advanced questions, and she is always excited to help me learn more. I have earned some of the best test scores in this class compared to my other classes, and I truly believe it is because of her dedication and commitment to helping us succeed. One reason I want to pursue the nurse practitioner program here is that I would love to have her as a professor again. She is a wonderful asset to the School of Nursing. My future nursing practice will be forever shaped by her.
