Sam is one of the most incredible RNs I have ever met, which says a lot because I'm an NP. As soon as I walked through my uncle's room door, I was welcomed by an introduction and a warm, smiling face. Sam took the time to go through all my questions and concerns. He never once made me feel like an inconvenience or a nuisance. I was even more impressed at the way he treated and spoke to my family. He took his time and explained things in a way that they could understand. He put my family at ease for the first time in days. That was the only day my aunt didn't cry. He even made her laugh and smile. He made her feel heard and comfortable with such a terrible situation that my uncle and family were going through. We were so grateful to have Sam as one of our nurses to help us during such a difficult time. Sam was compassionate, empathetic, kind, dedicated, caring, trustworthy, and genuine. His unwavering dedication to his patients was evident in every interaction. You made a profound difference in my family's lives, and I am forever grateful and indebted to Sam for everything you've done. There aren't RN's like you out there!
