Con sus exquisitos cuidados, con sus dotes naturales, con una sonrisa puesta siempre en la cara, su tesón, su profesionalidad y su amor por la enfermería, ha ayudado a incontables pacientes, familias, compañeras y médicos, sabiéndoles transmitir el calor de la mano que ayuda.
En 1996 la mandaron al sótano: a la consulta de Otorrinolaringología. Al principio parecía que iba a ser como un castigo... ¡Qué malos ratos pasó! Tuvo que aprender todo de todo, vencer sus ascos a los mocos y las traqueotomías, como todas las de la Quinta Tercera.
Pero Salomé es una profesional muy versátil, y logró hacerse rápidamente con la situación. Pasó consulta con todos los médicos, desde el Jefe, el Dr. García-Tapia, hasta el más joven de los residentes.
Desde hace unos 20 años, su actividad se ha asentado en las consultas de Otología y Otorrino Infantil, y en el Programa de Implantes Cocleares, en los que resulta una pieza casi imprescindible del engranaje. En particular, destaca por su dedicación a las familias de los niños con sordera.
Por eso tampoco resultó extraño que fuera una de las valientes pioneras en reconvertirse al Grado de Enfermería tras la estela de Bolonia, ya que, a lo largo de su trayectoria profesional, ha destacado por esa gran capacidad de adaptación y mejora continua.
Pero, sobre todo, Salomé ha destacado por las cualidades que debe tener toda buena enfermera: destreza técnica, diligencia, prudencia, honestidad, fiabilidad, gentileza, discreción, humildad y veracidad.
Soy paciente del Dr. Cervera. Su profesionalidad y trato humano son excepcionales, y esto se refleja en todo su equipo, teniendo unas enfermeras siempre atentas al paciente, especialmente Salomé.
Tanto mi mujer como yo vamos a la CUN para varias especialidades. Estamos muy contentos. Todo el personal es excelente. Las enfermeras son todas muy humanas y profesionales. Es difícil elegir, pero he tenido contacto con Otorrino por una operación delicada, luego un largo sufrimiento.
La enfermera que más nos atendió en Otorrino es Salomé. Siempre ha sido tan especial. Nos tocó la pandemia y nos dio tanto cariño que...

Through her exquisite care, natural aptitude, ever-present smile, tenacity, professionalism, and love for nursing, she has helped countless patients, families, colleagues, and doctors, always conveying the warmth of a helping hand.
In 1996, she was assigned to the basement—specifically, the Otorhinolaryngology clinic. At first, it seemed like a punishment... and she certainly went through some trying times! She had to learn the ropes from scratch and overcome her aversion to things like mucus and tracheostomies—just like everyone else in the "Quinta Tercera" cohort.
However, Salomé is a highly versatile professional, and she quickly mastered the situation. She worked in the clinics alongside every doctor, from the Department Head, Dr. García-Tapia, to the youngest resident.
For the past twenty years, her work has centered on the Otology and Pediatric ENT clinics, as well as the Cochlear Implant Program; in these areas, she has become an indispensable part of the team. She is particularly noted for her dedication to the families of children with hearing loss.
It is therefore not surprising that she was one of the brave pioneers to transition to the Nursing Degree program following the Bologna Process, given that her professional career has been marked by a remarkable capacity for adaptation and continuous improvement.
Above all, however, Salomé has distinguished herself through the qualities essential to any good nurse: technical skill, diligence, prudence, honesty, reliability, kindness, discretion, humility, and truthfulness.

I am a patient of Dr. Cervera. His professionalism and compassionate manner are exceptional, and this is reflected in his entire team; the nurses are always attentive to the patient—especially Salomé.
Both my wife and I visit the CUN for various specialties. We are very pleased. The entire staff is excellent. The nurses are all very caring and professional. It is hard to single anyone out, but I have dealt with the ENT department regarding a delicate surgery, followed by a long, difficult ordeal.
Salomé is the nurse who cared for us the most in the ENT department. She has always been so special. We went through the pandemic during that time, and she showed us such warmth and care.
