Since the day she arrived, Salma has given 110% to Sutter Solano. She provides visible leadership to multiple units and programs and works collaboratively across disciplines. Beyond her role as a Nursing Director, Salma also fills shifts as the house supervisor without hesitation, sometimes late-night shifts, to support the medical center. She has an open-door policy and makes extra efforts to arrive early, stay late, and come in on the weekends to support her teammates and foster engaging relationships. Salma willingly volunteers for projects, such as the safe patient mobilization committee, to improve the safety and quality of patient care and teammates' working environment. Her efforts have made a visible difference in the areas she touches.
