This RN embodies everything that is beautiful about why people go into this helping profession called nursing. She exceeded the utmost professionalism, while providing a personal touch that is very rare & beautiful. She puts patients at complete ease regardless of their situation. In-house patients often face more than just the physical ailments that landed them in the hospital. They also deal with numerous environmental barriers, such as unsafe living conditions at home, financial constraints & lack of resources, or knowledge of those resources, upon discharge.

This nurse was a glowing presence who was always ready to listen to my concerns with no judgment. Whether my issues were physical, emotional, psychological, etc, this RN offered genuine, thoughtful suggestions and actionable steps to assist me during my stay and continued to provide support for my upcoming transition home. Her genuine empathy is evident in everything she does. It is clear that she cares very deeply for her patients well being, even long after they have left her care.

I have been changed in wonderfully positive ways in just my few days of having the honor of having this individual as my nurse. Her fleeting presence in my life will leave a very long-lasting impression. I undoubtably will draw upon our conversations; her words in the future if I feel the need to recall humanity at its best! In these days, those are the gifts that mean everything!
