I’ve had other hospital stays. There always seems to be “that one” nurse who obviously stands out above all others in giving care. Sabrina was that “one” nurse who immediately became my special angel. Why? Because she is passionate about her role in healthcare. She is compassionate toward patients' needs, which goes beyond her knowledge and skills as a nurse.

Sabrina sees her patients as individuals who may very well be scared and worried about what lies ahead. Sabrina walks into the patient's room with a bright smile and caring eyes. Her presence brought me peace beyond my understanding. I always knew she was there to help me in any way possible. When it was time to remove the NG tube, I was so thankful and relieved that it was Sabrina! She comforted me, and I was comforted by her presence.

Sabrina is special. She has a gift that cannot be taught. You just know it when she enters your room.
