On Tuesday evening, my dad was admitted to the ER for the third time in less than two weeks post-hip replacement. Last night, Dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and was admitted. Ryan was a light. A reality that should be a common place in healthcare. Dad is a veteran, as is Ryan. Ryan treated Dad with the utmost respect, compassion, care, and connection. He made things happen that were in the best interest of Dad, and that is what healthcare should be. Ryan and I had very candid conversations, and I appreciated that. Every patient should have a “Ryan”. Exemplary in every way, and I appreciate his honesty and integrity.
