I came to the emergency room that morning, not feeling well. Since I had a stroke five years ago, I felt it was a good idea to get checked out. The MRI came out fine, but the doctor wanted to admit me for further evaluation. I did not want to comply because I was leaving first thing on Monday morning for a week's vacation. I agreed because the doctor said that if the three tests he wanted to do came out okay, I would be able to leave later that day. When I was checked into my room, I met my nurse, Ryan Balgos. He was very pleasant and upbeat. He told me he was aware of my situation and was going to order the three tests to be rushed. In less than two hours, I was taken to get a CAT scan. The technician wished me luck and to have a wonderful vacation.
