I came into the ICU frightened and having a hard time understanding things due to processing challenges. Russ took time out of his busy day to make sure I understood what was happening. Once I understood, he always took part of his shift to just listen, which helped reduce my fears. All of this, plus now with four patients and serving as charge nurse. When Russ starts each shift and ends it with a handshake, you know you are in good hands as part of our family. Russ is making a difference every day. Thank you from my wife, children, and more. He is helping me improve rapidly.
