During every visit, Ruba greeted her with a smile, encouraged her, and made her feel comfortable.
Ruba has always been there for me, assisting and helping me solve my problems whenever I needed support. I remember one night, around 10 p.m., I faced a serious issue. I was frightened to go to the hospital because of road closures, but Ruba immediately opened a video call with me. Through the call, she calmly guided me step by step and solved the problem. I am truly grateful to her. My daughter M never liked receiving injections. However, with Ruba’s gentle approach and sense of humor, M began to accept them. During every visit, Ruba greeted her with a smile, encouraged her, and made her feel comfortable. Over time, M became very attached to Ruba—so much so that she would often tell her siblings at home how kind Ruba was and how she helped her adapt to the hospital and the difficult situation she was facing. Whenever M was hospitalized, Ruba always visited her, checked on her, and took the time to talk with her. This created a special bond between them. While I believe all the nurses at Augusta Victoria Hospital are wonderful, Ruba holds a very special place in our hearts. Every time we have a hospital visit, M always says, “Mom, please make sure Ruba is on duty and not on leave.” If I could, I would fill out ten recommendation forms just for Ruba. M loves her dearly, and because of M’s love for her, I, too, have grown to love and admire her deeply. We wish her and all the other nurses the best.
