Everyone was great! One afternoon, the charge nurse, Rose, stopped in my room and spoke to me about the angiogram I was scheduled for later that afternoon. She could tell that I was apprehensive about the procedure. I was thinking about having the procedure the next day. She helped me so very much with making the decision to go ahead with the procedure that day. She was so very helpful to me, and she was great. As I was taken away to the procedure, I asked her to pray for me. She reassured me that she had already been praying. There were some extensive wait times in the waiting room for the procedure. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that the delays were being appropriately explained, so I asked for my cell phone. Rose brought my cell phone to me even though she was short-staffed. She also contacted the doctor to let him know that the procedure was delayed and called my house to let my fiancé know as well. Rose then returned to the floor and called me in the waiting room to comfort me and told me what she had done. I was thrilled and very happy to know that she took these actions and felt reassured. Rose cares about her patients a lot. She is wonderful.
