Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering support have carried me through some of the most difficult moments of my life. I am forever thankful for my nurse Rose.
Rose has been my primary nurse for over 24 years, and I truly believe she is one of the biggest blessings in my life. I was only 27 years old when I went into kidney failure, scared and uncertain about my future. During that time, Rose became my primary nurse as I trained to do nocturnal dialysis.

From the very beginning, she brought calmness, encouragement, and hope into my life. When I was told that I could not have children, Rose and my care team never stopped believing that pregnancy was possible. Their positivity gave me the strength to keep hope alive. Fast forward 24 years—I am now the proud mother of three sons. In fact, I became the first woman in North America—and likely the first in the world—to carry three babies to term while on nocturnal dialysis.

Through every high and low of this journey, Rose has been by my side. She has always treated me not just as a patient, but as family. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering support have carried me through some of the most difficult moments of my life. I am forever thankful for my nurse Rose. She is not only exceptional at her profession, but she is also an extraordinary human being who has made a lifelong difference in my story.
