I came into the clinic barely able to walk after falling numerous times throughout the year. A walker had been prescribed for me through Prosthetics in Roseburg, and it took some time to arrive. When it finally did, Rosa called me at home to let me know my walker had arrived and that I could come pick it up.

When I came to the clinic, Rosa had everything ready for me. It was such a nice surprise. She put the walker together and carefully showed me how to use it. I did not even have an appointment scheduled for that day, yet she took the time to ensure I was safe and comfortable. I found this was extremely considerate and thoughtful to take the time to help me in this manner; it seemed she went above and beyond the call of duty this day.

Every time Rosa is working as part of my healthcare team, she takes the time to listen and helps me prepare for my appointments. She carefully reviews the notes I bring and ensures my prescriptions are ordered. Rosa has a special way of calming my nerves when I feel anxious, and she genuinely listens to my stories.

Whenever Rosa comes to the door to call my name for my appointment, I'm relieved she is working that day. I hope she will be chosen for this award. Her years of service and the care she provides to me and others truly deserve the highest recognition.
