Ronnie exemplified all the values of a DAISY Award Nominee. He was able to communicate updates, information, and most importantly, reassure my mom while my dad needed emergent care. He took time to listen to my mom’s questions and answered them in a compassionate, caring manner and tone. He approaches the care of his patients with calmness, expertise, and compassion, and ensures family members understand what’s happening.

Ronnie went out of his way to provide information and updates when they became available. This helped alleviate her concerns and trust in the process. He was patient and explained Dad’s labs to my mom. Ronnie also anticipated comfort needs and exudes emotional intelligence when interacting with my dad, vs with my mom and me. He serves with authenticity, and you can feel that he truly cares!
