My husband had Robert on several shifts in two different hospital admissions, 4 months apart. He handled my husband with great compassion and humor, even when my husband was very stubborn and grouchy. Robert was attentive, frequently checking in, and was extremely patient and thorough about communicating about medications and procedures.

When my husband became agitated while I was gone, Robert took the time to call me and let me talk to him to calm him down. Robert also did an amazing job of communicating our wishes for care with physicians and other staff.

At one point, Robert advocated for our decision regarding an approach to my husband's care and saved my husband from an unnecessary medical procedure, which would have negatively impacted my husband's pain and comfort level.

I can't say enough about how important his kind and professional care was to my husband's recovery and to our family. He truly went above and beyond for my husband and our family! When I left at night, I slept well knowing he was taking care of my husband!
