Renee provided excellent care for my 19 year old son while he was recovering from surgery. All of the staff were kind and compassionate, but we are especially grateful for the three days in which Renee was his nurse. She is pretty exceptional. Renee was attentive to my son's needs and very preceptive in reading his body language to recognize when he was in pain or feeling nervous. She explained what she was doing and what he needed to do in understandable language. She was skilled and efficient while never appearing rushed. Renee was very encouraging and kept things light and positive which helped my son complete tasks needed to facilitate his recovery. She also connected with him personally remembering information he shared and used that to connect. Renee also maintained an excellent balance of giving space and encouraging activity. I don't think these words are adequate in expressing our gratitude. Renee is clearly a dedicated professional and quality human. Thank you for the care you provided my son ~ and support given to me. A just asked what I was writing and when I told him he agreed - Renee is GREAT!!
