Rene provided us with extra-ordinary care in Labor and Delivery. She was friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Her concern and caring for us as we journeyed through the labor process were amazing. Thanks to her constant presence in our room and attention, she quickly assessed an emergency situation when I experienced a tectonic contraction, which could have caused brain injury or possible death to our then unborn baby. Rene called for our doctor, who had left the hospital grounds, and then took matters into her own hands, giving oxygen and medication to stop all contractions. Her quick thinking and calmness in the situation were critical to ending what could have been a terrible outcome. Thank God for Rene and that she has found her calling as a nurse. She is smart, warm and kind, and we are forever grateful to her.
