I reached out to Becky to ask her about my 94-year-old grandmother coming to Hillsboro Health's swing bed after her hip replacement. Prior to that, we were told by several people, including another Hillsboro Health employee, that she could not come to a swing bed unless she stayed 3 nights inpatient at the hospital where the surgery was performed. We knew that the inpatient stay would be far-fetched, as they like to send them home immediately after surgery.

After reaching out to Becky, she went above and beyond to do everything she could to help and get my grandmother to come to HH to a swing bed! This is where my grandmother really wanted to go, instead of a nursing home! Becky told me exactly what I needed to do and say to Memorial in Springfield to make this happen! The day of my grandmother's surgery, I was in close contact with Becky, and she always replied right back! She notified me the next day that she got the referral from Memorial, and she sent it off to insurance.

The following day, I received three emails from her updating me on the referral status! She was amazing! In the end, Becky got the approval, and actually, my grandmother was discharged home from Memorial and didn’t need the swing bed services. Becky did an amazing job and went above and beyond to get HH business! She was so very kind and helpful in so many ways! She really helped us and made a very unclear/uncertain situation less stressful for our family due to her knowledge! It was uncharted territory for us, and she really put us at ease! HH is blessed to have Becky to be such an advocate to get patients into their facility! We’re forever grateful for her help!
