When we arrived, she was really shaky, nervous, and scared. They were able to get her into a room fast. Then my hero walked in.

Rebecca Smith is an awesome professional. I was freaking out, and she helped calm me down. She was polite, and she took care of my wife. Her empathy is above reproach. I see nurses as the superheroes of the world. She is absolutely amazing! The funnier part I asked her to fix my wife's ponytail cause I messed it up and she did and joked around with us. It is nice to know there are nurses who have a big heart; she does.

Besides my crying because of the situation, it had a huge positive impact on me. I am a U.S. Army combat veteran. She treated me like a person and listened to my concerns.
