As a home care nurse at MLWP, Rebecca consistently demonstrates the kind of compassionate, extraordinary care that the DAISY Award was created to honor. Rebecca brings a deeply caring and nurturing presence into every home she enters. Her commitment to her participants goes far beyond routine nursing care. Whether it's offering a listening ear, staying late to ensure a wound is properly dressed, or providing reassurance to a worried family member, Rebecca always goes the extra mile. She treats each participant as if they were her own family.

What truly sets Rebecca apart is her willingness to meet her participants where they are, literally and figuratively. In the unpredictable world of home care, you never know what you might encounter, but Rebecca faces it all with grace, humor, and a fearless sense of duty. There have been days when Rebecca has not only provided medical care but also cleaned living spaces to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Rebecca has cared for participants' beloved pets, including providing pet food, walking dogs, re-homing cats, and even tending to a turtle, because for Rebecca, caring extends to the entire home and everything the participant values.
