All the staff love and enjoy working with Raphael Romero. He has lit a spark in teammates' eyes that has been missing for quite a while. The care he provides to our patients is unmatched, and his work ethic knows no boundaries. I constantly receive compliments from our patients regarding the excellent care and compassion Raphael provides on a daily basis. One of those patients recently sent a letter to me, to let me know how pleased he was with the care he received during his stay in our unit.

He wrote, "I am writing to you to thank you and your excellent nursing staff for the professional care I received while in your care." He was especially impressed with Raphael, stating he proved his skills and knowledge while caring for him, and never showed any disfavor because he was in prison. He wrote, "I was treated as well as any patient could ask for...my stay was pleasant because of the care I was given." I have received various other compliments about Raphael from patients, regarding the time he takes to explain things to them, his patience with them when they call frequently for assistance, and how timely he shows up to help when called. I have also received compliments from other teammates on how much they enjoy working with him because he is always professional, and available to help them when needed, and he always has a pleasant attitude with a smile on his face, even during the most stressful times on the unit.

Raphael never complains about anything, and always does what is asked with no hesitation. We are all thankful and blessed to have Raphael on our team, and feel he sets an example of what true nursing care should be!
