It is with great respect and admiration that I nominate this nurse. This nurse continues to raise the standard of patient care through unwavering compassion, clinical excellence, and incredible ability to connect with both patients and families at a human level. One patient stated that, from the moment this nurse walked into their home, they felt supported and safe. This nurse not only administered care with precision but also offered emotional reassurance that made a world of difference. One patient said, “It is clear nursing is not just a job for this nurse, it is a calling.” It is my honor to present this DAISY Award to Raphael Manalo.
