She tailored her care and instruction to our mom in ways that were aligned with Mom's sense of personality.
Our 79-year-old mother was admitted after a fall outside and being exposed to the cold. She was disoriented in the hospital from the unfamiliar surroundings and many doctors, nurses, etc. continuously coming and going. Rani was the one steady person during the first 2 days/nights - and she was wonderful! Her attitude was always friendly and fit perfectly with our mom, and me/hubby! She was adept at all of her duties and efficiently completed tasks while being personable! We enjoyed learning about her family and sharing about us.

It is clear that Rani understands that she not only provides exceptional care to the patient, physically, but also the importance of making the patient FEEL cared for, heard, and acknowledged as a person, not just another "bed". She tailored her care and instruction to our mom in ways that were aligned with Mom's sense of personality. Direct, but with explanation and sometimes humor - not overly - but just the right amount. We know she was very busy but she always responded in a way that ensured my mom knew she was a priority.

I really appreciate that Rani calls it like she sees it, but with kindness/caring. She doesn't make excuses or placate the patient. Also, she was supportive of me and my husband, answering our questions and keeping us apprised of happenings each day when we came to see Mom. This gave us some peace about leaving Mom each evening, knowing she was in good care and we had Rani as an advocate for her best care.
