Randol Ramseier, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Professor Ramseier always goes above and beyond for us as her students. She truly cares about us and our success. During a particularly difficult time, she took the time to listen and offered thoughtful recommendations to help me manage what I was going through. That wasn’t what meant the most; what meant the most was how she delivered her advice. She was kind, patient, and did not show an ounce of judgment. She made me feel supported rather than embarrassed for my emotions. Her level of compassion is something I’ll never forget. Her other students feel the same, because I’ve heard it from them on multiple occasions. Her passion for teaching is evident, and her commitment to helping us grow and succeed as the best nurses we can be is clear. She is what it means to be a nurse because she is compassionate, empathetic, and committed to helping others. I am so thankful to have had a professor like her as I finished the nursing program. This was a tough semester, and she helped us succeed. So, I want to nominate her for the DAISY Award and thank you for everything you have done for us students!
