Arvee has the concern for every patient he is assigned to. Aside from being so compassionate, he is reliable especially in assisting his peers more specifically the juniors. But there is one instance I can't forget how Arvee showed his deep concern for his patients. One time after my dialysis which lasted for 5 hours. My blood pressure went up to as high as 195. Arvee didn't let me go and decided to coordinate and bring me to the ER which eventually admitted me. I was confined for 3 days. I am so thankful to Arvee because if he let me go, I don't know what would have happened to me.

Almost 4 years of hemodialysis 3x a week is sometimes very tiresome, depressing but exhilarating. Oftentimes I would say "pagod na ko". It's like going to school but adifferent set-up. Seeing every staff at the Renal Unit, especially Arvee, a tall, jolly, energetic guy would change my mood. He greets me like his age saying "O, anu kamusta?" followed by soft laughter. I can feel the care that every patient needs in a positive way. He is one of my favorite nurses because he cleans my access port quite differently. The heavy but gentle stroke of cotton balls with cutasept remove the itchiness of the area. He follows my wish of using only one thin gauge as dressing before putting the opsite. He usually starts by updating me with the recent events especially basketball - NBA latest season and other related matters. To me, Arvee is extraordinary not to mention his length of stay at the renal unit. He can adjust to the different needs of every patient he handles. He is a hard-working, competent responsible, dedicated nurse.
