I came in as a patient to have a cardiac cath. I was met by a very kind and friendly nurse in the Cath Lab. My nurse said I would need 2 IVs. I said it was very difficult to start one on me. Well, along came Rafael. He was so pleasant and reassuring that he could complete the task. Without any hesitation, well done! He was also along with me for the cath. He made me feel comfortable every step of the way.

A week later, I came back to the Cath Lab for an ablation. I asked if Rafael was working. Here came my angel back to do my IVs once again. He put off his unit break to do this for me. Who does that? He truly is a very caring nurse. Sadly that day I was bumped due to an emergency procedure ahead of me. Here I am once again back in the Cath Lab. When I arrived, I asked if Rafael was working. He asked to be replaced in a procedure to come do my IVs. He is truly my 3-time angel! What dedication, kindness, and tenderness. I wish every nurse could be as wonderful as Rafael. Broward is truly blessed to have him. Thank you again, Rafael!
