Rachel has grown and continues to grow from Fundamentals. She has clear compassion for her patients. She is extremely empathetic to her patients and their situations. Just yesterday she became overwhelmed with her feelings on the psych floor. She waited until clinical was over to express it. She sees them as the human beings they are not their disease process. She is so thankful to be a nursing student. She advocates for herself, her fellow students, and her clients. She is respectful, often standing up for instructors when others are negative. She demonstrates unconditional regard for all clients. She works hards, always willing to step in even if it is "just vital signs". She is aware of her areas of weakness and is a role model in clinical and lab. She is calm and level-headed at clinical even when nervous. She practices excellent communication. Rachel is the ultimate example of what a nursing student should be and demonstrate.
