I recently had a challenging time with some news that looked like a setback in my progress. I was feeling down and needed encouragement, so I asked for a staff member to call me. There was Rachel on the phone, and I was so glad to hear her sweet, gentle voice always expressing sincere concern for my every need, no matter how trivial it may have seemed to me.

After expressing my recent issues and lack of energy, appetite, and other symptoms, she was right there to give me some practical and simple suggestions and encouragement. She always takes time to really listen to me. Her voice alone lifts my spirit, and I always leave our conversation feeling renewed with hope.

I’m so blessed to have her in my life at this time while battling ovarian cancer. She is my bouquet of flowers that makes me smile. She is my cheerleader. I hope many women in my position can be blessed by her.
