After being dismissed on 8/22, I had to return on 8/23 because of an inflamed kidney that was causing significant pain. After the diagnosis of my problem and antibiotics were administered, the pain was gone, and I was moved to my room. Although I was cared for well by everyone involved in my care during this weekend period, Nurse Rachel stood out.

In my 3-day stay, I was lucky enough to have Rachel care for me twice. Above and beyond was her care and compassion that made my stay comfortable and relaxing. I was in capable hands again. Her upbeat personality, professionalism, and caring were fantastic!

I again saw a nurse who truly loves her job and cares for her patients. She chose the perfect profession for her God given talents. Rachel, thank you so much for all that you did for me. And thanks for continuing that passion for all the patients you care for. Highland Park Hospital is lucky to have someone with your professional and personal attributes.
