She moved heaven and earth to keep my wife comfortable. She was compassionate, kind, and funny, and she felt like a longtime friend.
My wife gave birth two weeks ago. We are first time parents and had lots of questions, concerns and nerves. We were lucky enough to have Payton as our nurse our first night there and she went above and beyond to help us through every step. She held my wife's hand and calmly got her through her epidural (something she was very nervous about). She provided happiness and humor in the moments we needed it most. We had two scares (heart rate dropping) the first night, and she thoroughly talked us through everything after acting swiftly to elevate it. We couldn't have been more blessed to have her by our side. Then, 5 days postpartum, my wife developed pre-eclampsia. In what were the most difficult and scary 4 days of either of our lives (especially for a first-time mom away from her newborn baby), Payton once again came to the rescue. She moved heaven and earth to keep my wife comfortable. She was compassionate, kind, and funny, and she felt like a longtime friend. She was truly a blessing.
