Payten continually gives her patients her time and undivided attention, even if it’s only for a few extra minutes. Her compassion and care help restore dignity and purpose. She is highly attentive and perceptive during interactions with her patients. Being seen and heard plays a big role in the overall healing process, and she definitely goes above and beyond.

Her reason alone for deciding to become a nurse is as personal and meaningful as it gets. She has a heart for nursing; she wants to make a difference in people’s lives and make a statement in the healthcare community.

There are many things she has done that you can’t just choose one moment or time to make her worthy enough. It’s herself as a whole that makes her special. Anyone who knows her, her work ethic, passion, and dedication, in my opinion, knows she is a quality representative.
