On Saturday evening around 10 pm, I came to ENH ER for treatment. I was taken into an exam room very quickly (about 10 minutes). Patrick came to make me comfortable and take my vitals. He said the doctor would be in shortly. At about the same time, two ambulances came with emergencies needing immediate attention. Patrick came to tell me the doctor would be delayed and made sure I was comfortable. The doctor did not get to see me for about 3 hours I think, but Patrick was there every 20 minutes-always with a smile and trying to keep me comfortable.
After the doctor saw me, I just needed to stay to be sure I was ok to be discharged. Patrick's shift ended around 1 or 1:30 but he would not leave until he was sure I was going home. He came in and said "goodbye" just before I left. I was discharged around 3 am. Patrick is a really dedicated Nurse who definitely puts patients first.
