Our son was a c-section baby and had to go to the NICU. As a first-time father … that brings up a ton of fear and questions. At first, I had no idea what the doctors and nurses were talking about, but then came Patrick. He calmly explained everything to me in a simple, broken-down version that really helped make everything make sense. When it came time to change my very first diaper, he helped me through it, not by doing but by guiding me to do it the right way. He explained it in a very guy-to-guy/dad-to-new-dad way that I will never forget. “You gotta keep that thing covered,” is some of the best advice I have ever gotten!

I cannot say enough good things about him. If I ever had a concern or “stupid” question, he never hesitated to walk me through it with very detailed information in a manner that I could understand. When we would leave for the day/night to get some rest, there was absolutely nobody I trusted more.

We’re very thankful to have him caring for our baby boy and couldn’t ask for any better.
