Our mother-in-law/mother/grandmother was admitted to the ICU at PMH after undergoing a craniotomy. We were overly impressed by Patesha's patient-centered and compassionate care.

My family and I would like to recognize Patesha McCord from the 5th floor for her exceptional dedication, attentiveness, and compassion throughout my mother-in-law's stay. From the moment of admission to discharge, Pateasha demonstrated an extraordinary level of commitment by spending extensive time in the room, not only attending to medical needs but also providing comfort, reassurance, and a calming presence. Her willingness to be fully present made a meaningful difference to both us as family members and as the patient.

What truly stood out was Patesha's remarkable attention to detail. She noticed even the smallest changes in the patient's condition and made proactive decisions that contributed to a smoother, safer recovery. From adjusting treatment plans to ensuring every aspect of care, from hygiene to emotional support, was handled with precision and kindness, exemplified what it means to go above and beyond in nursing. Throughout the entire stay, Patesha maintained a warm, caring attitude that never wavered, no matter how busy the day became. Although I am certain that Patesha has serviced hundreds of patients over her time as a nurse, she was so compassionate, we felt as if we created an everlasting bond/friendship.
