Pam possesses a rare and invaluable ability to treat patients with genuine respect and compassion. I was admitted to Community Hospital. This was my first hospital stay in fifty years. I was confused about just about everything: tests, procedures, etc. She truly sees the person behind the patient. She treated me as a friend or family member, making me feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. All while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Her intuitive sense of reading the room allows her to respond with empathy and understanding in every situation. She is personable and professional, striking a balance that is increasingly uncommon in today's nursing field. If I were in charge of a nursing team, I would clone her or, at the very least, entrust her with training all new medical staff. She embodies the heart and soul of what nursing should be. Pam is to nursing what Taylor Swift is to music, exceptional, inspiring and in a league of her own. Kudos to Pam.
