Pam was absolutely amazing! Not only was she sweet and kind, but she went out of her way to help me and my family. She found out my sister was in the waiting room with my niece and 10-year-old daughter who has Asperger's. My sister was worried my daughter might freak out if she saw me too groggy and connected to any wires and made a point to make sure ALL of the cords were gone before they came back, even making sure to remove the BP cuff. While I was waking up, she brought juice and a snack out to my girls. She gave my daughter a big hug and assured her that she was taking very good care of me. She then made a point of telling me how cool, unique and polite my daughter was. She was amazing helping me and my family. I'll never forget her removing all the cords from my room entirely. She was scanning the room making sure there were all gone and out of the room. "I just want to make sure I get everything. So your daughter doesn't trigger and freak out." I've never had a medical professional go out of their way to help with my daughter's autism before and I will never forget it. She helped make an extremely stressful day not so stressful for my daughters. The level of kindness and understanding is hard to find, and I will forever be grateful for it.
