Paige is a nurse with over 20 years of pediatric/neonatal intensive care besides nursing experience. Her research interests reflect her experiences as a nurse and an LGBTQ community health advocate. She is the Co-principle investigator of an ongoing clinical study to validate the Neonatal Pain, Agitation, and Sedation Scale (N-PASS) with bedside nurse assessments in an urban level III NICU. In addition, Paige has maintained her ties to the DuPage Community Network of Professional Advocates for LGTBQ youth, where she is using targeted community actions to enhance LGBTQ cultural sensitivity in community healthcare settings within the Northwestern Cadence healthcare system.
