I had the honor of getting to work with Paige the other day as she took care of a critical patient in less-than-ideal circumstances, and with minimal resources. Her drive, care, and determination allowed this patient to get amazing care that otherwise could have taken his life within a matter of minutes.

Her commitment did not stop there. Once the patient decided that they would transition to comfort care due to their condition, Paige stayed by their side until the end. This included staying past her scheduled shift to provide some of the best 1:1 care that I have seen in a situation like that. She did not leave his side, besides getting more medications to make him comfortable. She made sure to get additional support from those around her and advocated for everything that her patient could have needed.

She is an amazing nurse with an extraordinary drive to care for her patients as best she can, and if she cannot provide the care they need, she fights to secure what is in their best interests. I am honored to work alongside her.
