Paige is an absolute gem, and we are so incredibly grateful to her and the care she provided for our family on more than one occasion. She provided care for us when we had our son and recently when we welcomed our daughter this year. Paige is truly incredible at what she does, and she was absolutely meant to be an L&D nurse. During the labor process, Paige made me feel so safe and heard. I truly cannot thank her enough for that. When we delivered our son, I remember her holding my hand and telling me that everything was going to be alright. In that moment, although I was terrified, I truly believed her. Not just because she said it, but because I could actually feel how much she cared. During a time that I was most vulnerable and scared of the unknown, she treated me with such grace, care, and kindness. She advocated for me and my wishes during times I was afraid or didn’t know what would happen. When I reflect on my birthing experiences and how incredible they turned out to be, I can’t help but also think of Paige. I get emotional when I think back to how she treated us so incredibly well. I didn’t feel like I was just another patient; I felt like she was truly seeing me as a person, an equal, another mother coming to be. When I delivered again, she again treated us with such kindness. She remembered our son and us from before. With how many women and families she helps on a daily basis, we felt it was really a special moment that she remembered us from more than a year and a half earlier. She made me, and I’m sure so many others, feel safe, seen, heard, and cared for. I’m forever thankful for Paige and nurses like her! They are angels among us, and I’m so glad she found her calling to be an L&D nurse. We are forever grateful to her and all that she does. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Paige!!
