I’d like to nominate our open heart team for the day award. Is there a group of dedicated nurses who handle complex surgery while instilling compassion. They stay out there in the OR for hours on end, making sure everything goes smoothly for each patient. Their work isn’t easy, but they support each other through tough moments and always go the extra mile for their patient. They bring heart and expertise to helping both patients and families feel during a very stressful time. This team truly deserves recognition for their hard work, resilience, and amazing care they provide.

The Abmc heart team is the epitome of exceptional. Still compassion and commitment to patient care here at Alexian Brothers. This hard-working team of nurses works day and night delivering the highest quality of care even during the most stressful of times. Each nurse on this team is underappreciated but highly valued, they are compassionate and contribute to an amazing collaborative team, their commitment to the team, this hospital, and especially our patient sun wave rain. I wholeheartedly recommend all the members of this team for the day award. I am honored to work with them as their contributions to cardiovascular nursing are truly deserving of the recognition.
