Maya Angelou stated, “The true mark of a nurse is not just their knowledge, but their heart. It is their kindness and empathy that leave a lasting impression on those in their care.” Our loving father recently suffered a brief illness that ultimately took his life. While he was in Critical Care West, he received excellent care from all the staff we came into contact with. This is also true of our experience in the ER and oncology. One nurse truly cared for and loved our family as we stood beside Dad over the several days he was in Critical Care. That was Tayo. We were lovingly guided and attended to at a very difficult time in our family life. We are forever grateful to Tayo.
