With tears welling in my eyes as I write this, on behalf of my entire family, we want to thank Summer, my grandmother’s ICU nurse for taking the time and thought of doing her hair and makeup as they took her off life support. Surrounded by family, she went peacefully and thanks to Summer, beautifully. Summer, you encompass everything it takes and SO MUCH more to be a nurse. It takes sympathy, empathy, and just outright being a BEAUTIFUL HUMAN to be THE nurse that you are. Thank you, with everything in me, for being you! I’ve never met you personally and I can’t tell you how proud I am to have had you there for us during this difficult time. FGH is lucky to have you. May God bless you and your family all the days of your life. May your hard work and dedication NEVER go unnoticed. Thank you.
