She doesn't just treat patients – she ministers to their hearts.
Please note this was one of two nominations we received. The other nomination was very personal to the patient, so we have not shared it publicly. But we did want to make note of the other nomination.

"From the moment I met Nurse Yinka, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and assurance. Her calming presence immediately put me at ease during one of the most uncertain and vulnerable times in my life. Facing a potential surgery, emotions were high, but Yinka carried a grace and strength that calmed the storm within me. Yinka’s demeanor was gentle, yet powerful. She radiated compassion, kindness, and a true servant’s heart. Every word she spoke, every gesture she made, reflected her deep commitment to healing, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually as well. She doesn't just treat patients – she ministers to their hearts. She didn’t rush. She didn’t overlook a thing. Instead, she took her time to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and emotionally grounded. It was as if I were the only patient in the world at that moment. That level of care and attentiveness is rare and truly deserving of recognition. Yinka embodies the spirit of nursing; she is a gift to her profession and to every patient she touches. I will never forget how she helped me settle in and find courage in the face of uncertainty. She reminded me that healing isn’t just about medicine – it's also about feeling safe, seen, and supported. Thank you, Yinka, for being my anchor. You are truly a DAISY nurse, and I’m forever grateful for your care."
